Artist's Statement

My art piece shows the awareness of the courageous women who risked their lives to help Jewish babies and children during the holocaust. A notable woman was a Polish social worker named Irena Sendler who smuggled approximately 2,500 children out of the Warsaw ghetto. Sendler is a hero because of her bravery and determination to maintain the safety of children even during crisis could soon encourage women around the world to embrace their children in motherly love and safety.
