Poet's Statement

This work addresses the prompt through emotions. It analyzes not only to the Holocaust and the recent Ethiopian ethnic cleansings, but to humanity as a whole. The Holocaust, and other exterminations of outcast groups that the government feels are threatening, is  repulsive view into the darkest lows of human nature. This poem explores the different aspects of harm and hurt that inflicted pain on the Jews and also the Tigrayans of Northern Ethiopia.
