Author's Statement

This essay discusses the brave women who died in the Holocaust and the Asian-American community that has been shunned for decades. Both of these groups of people have experienced multiple types of Gordon Allport's "Stages of Prejudice." This piece is very heartfelt and explanatory. While these topics are uncomfortable, their discussion is absolutely necessary.
